I’ve visited a lot of places in Hucknall for breakfast cobs and fry-ups, and I’ve always got issues like bacon not cooked enough, sausages having no taste, and black pudding being hard.
But Mel’s smash it every time. 🙌

Mel is brilliant, as soon as you walk in you feel welcomed with a nice atmosphere. The food is great, I’ve been getting the breakfast cob here for years and it has always been bang on. Portions are perfect, very filling and not stingy with the ingredients, price is also very good which is a huge bonus and means I will always be a repeat customer and 95% of the time choose here over other places. Overall Mel does some great food and doesn’t cheap out on ingredients like a lot of places do, I would recommend to anybody to eat here👍 A true hucknall gem.- Meal type

Had 3 large cobs on a busy Christmas Eve morning, and they didn't fail to deliver. Managed to squeeze us in amongst the morning rush and all 3 of us absolutely loved the cobs. Would highly recommend this place!
